GEOINFOMATICS
Ali, Deonanan & Associates Limited makes optimal use of modern geomatic technology in order to provide the highest quality service to its clients. Technologies employed include:
(i) Global Positioning System (GPS)
(ii) Global Information System (GIS)
GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM GPS
GPS technology issued on a day to day basis, and for a wide range of purposes.
- Handheld GPS (± 3m) issued for navigation, parcel location, day to day solar computations and course positioning.
- Handheld devices are used by land surveyor and survey technicians.
- RTK GPS (± 0.03m) is used for topographical surveying, point positioning, stake-out exercises and azimuth determination.
- Static GPS (± 0.01m) issued for control positioning and deformation monitoring exercise
GLOBAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS)
GIS tools are also used on a day to day basis for complex spatial analyses. They are used to process raw data into useful decision making information. GIS tools used include:-
- Slope Analysis
- Overlay Analysis
- Route Selection
- Image Geo-referencing
- Map Production
- Contouring
- Volume Computations
- Cut/Fill Computations
- Proximity Analysis
- On-Screen Digitizing
